Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PawSolids ("PawSolids," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the PawSolids mobile application and the website at pawsolids.com(together, the "Service"). PawSolids is operated by Olha Hrynkiv, an individual sole trader based in Ukraine.

We respect your privacy. We do not sell your personal data, we do not share it with advertising networks, and we do not use it to train AI models without your consent. By using the Service you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Service. The categories below match the disclosures shown on the App Store privacy label.

  • Account information. When you sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password, we receive your email address and, if you choose to provide it (Apple Sign In), your first and last name. We assign you a unique account identifier.
  • Pet profile data. Information you enter about your pets — name, species, breed, birthdate, weight, photo, and similar attributes.
  • Activity and health logs. Entries you create about feedings, water intake, symptoms, medications, and reminders, along with timestamps and free-text notes.
  • Stool scanner photos. If you use the AI stool scanner, the photograph you take is uploaded to our backend for analysis (see Section 3) and stored together with the resulting insights.
  • Subscription information. If you purchase a subscription, we receive purchase receipts and subscription status from Apple or Google. We never see or store payment-card details.
  • Device and usage data. Device identifier, app version, operating-system version, language, time zone, screen views, and in-app events used to understand how the Service is used and to debug problems.
  • Diagnostics. Crash reports and performance metrics (launch time, errors) used to keep the Service reliable.

2. How we use information

  • To create and maintain your account and authenticate you.
  • To provide the core features of the Service: logging, reminders, symptom-to-meal correlation, stool analysis, and exports.
  • To process and validate subscription purchases and prevent abuse.
  • To measure product usage in aggregate, fix bugs, and improve the Service.
  • To communicate with you about updates, security, and support.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not share data with data brokers.

3. Stool scanner and AI processing

When you take a photo with the stool scanner, the image is sent over an encrypted connection to our backend, where it is analyzed by a third-party computer-vision and large-language-model provider acting as our processor. The provider returns a summary describing consistency, color, hydration indicators, possible causes, and general care suggestions.

The output is informational only and is not veterinary advice or a medical diagnosis. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical decisions about your pet.

The provider is contractually prohibited from using your images to train its models. The image and the analysis result are stored with your account so you can review your history; you can delete individual scans or your entire account at any time (see Section 7).

4. Legal bases (for users in the EEA / UK)

  • Performance of a contract — to deliver the features you sign up for and to handle subscription transactions.
  • Legitimate interests — to keep the Service secure, fix bugs, prevent fraud, and measure usage in aggregate.
  • Consent — for any processing that requires it (for example, optional analytics where applicable). You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Compliance with legal obligations — when we are required by law to retain or disclose information.

5. Service providers we share data with

We share information with the following processors strictly to operate the Service. They act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage for your account, pet data, logs, and stool-scan images.
  • Apple and Google — Sign In with Apple, Google Sign In, App Store and Google Play purchase processing.
  • RevenueCat — subscription management and receipt validation.
  • PostHog — product analytics and diagnostics.
  • AI provider — third-party model used by the stool scanner (see Section 3).
  • Cloudflare — website hosting and content delivery for pawsolids.com.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PawSolids, our users, or others.

6. International transfers

Your information may be processed in the United States, the European Union, or other countries where our processors operate. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect international transfers of personal data.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Residents of the United States may have similar rights under state privacy laws (including California, Colorado, and Virginia).

  • Access and export. You can view all of your account data inside the app.
  • Correction. You can edit your pets, logs, and account details at any time in-app.
  • Deletion. Open the app, go to Profile → Account → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and associated data, including stool-scan images, from our active systems within 30 days. Some information may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
  • Other requests. Email support@pawsolids.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we remove personal data from active systems within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (for example, tax or accounting obligations relating to subscriptions). Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS) and at rest, strict access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; while we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party links

The Service may contain links to third-party sites and resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Please review their policies before sharing information with them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect.

13. Contact us

Questions, requests, or complaints? Contact us at support@pawsolids.com. We aim to respond within 7 days and will, in any case, respond within the time required by applicable law.
